May's Quotes and Coaching Questions
Quotes:
"Don't wait for a light to appear at the end of the tunnel, stride down there and light the bloody thing yourself." Unknown
"I couldn't wait for success, so I went ahead without it."
-- Jonathan Winters
"Achievement seems to be connected with action. Successful
men and women keep moving. They make mistakes, but they
don't quit."
-- Conrad Hilton
"Opportunities are usually disguised by hard work, so most
people don't recognize them."
-- Ann Landers
Behind the success and glamour of the people we see who have achieved their dreams is, if we look closer, a lot of work! Often when we read success stories it seems as if they were just lucky and had instant success. How misleading! Usually when you look further that "instant success" was preceded by years of persistent work. Consistent action is critical to achieving your dreams. Even though the actions you may be taking feel mundane and small they are, at the very least, a way to build up the "action muscles" that you will need to reach your goal.
Coaching Questions:
1. Where in your life do you need to take action today?
2. Are you taking daily action towards your dreams?
3. Are you focusing on each step and putting your energy into it?
4. Are you choosing to enjoy the journey to your goals?
